Meeting Goals

The face-to-face meetings are designed to promote the discussion between stakeholders of the ecosystem for the development of open and interoperable AR content and experiences. During the two day meeting, we will work side by side with AR industry leaders and SDO Work Group chairs to:

Augmented Reality developers encountering obstacles to audience reach and end user adoption as a result of proprietary technology "silos" are also encouraged to attend in order to learn about the open specifications and APIs under development, and to provide their opinions. AR developers participating in the community are on the front lines to learn about and influence the direction of new tools. Demonstrations will be used to assist in stimulating discussion among participants during meeting session 11.

All community members are invited to suggest topics for the agenda via submission of position papers.
