\n\t\t\t\tProject Description\n\t\t\t<\/th>\n\n\t\t\t\tThe project demonstrates a mobile visualization solution based on an integrated 3D data base. The solution makes use of several OGC standards and services in order to provide a queryable mobile 3D web-mapping application. In order to implement the solution, the available 3D data has first been converted to CityGML and imported into a CityGML database based on the Open Source project 3D City Database (www.3dcitydb.org). Second, our 3D Portrayal Platform has been set up to import this CityGML data and to generate an interactive 3D smartMap by means of a Web View Service and server-side rendering. Third, we have packed and delivered this solution as native mobile App and browser-based solution. Fourth, we have implemented a WFS service that can be used to query the CityGML database solution so that users can view feature attributes.\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\n\t\t\t\tProject Achievements\n\t\t\t<\/th>\n\n\t\t\t\tDuring the project we demonstrated how to convert and integrate heterogeneous datasets into one central CityGML database which serves as data storage.
\n\t\t\t\tSecond, we managed to implement a OGC\/ISO compliant WFS service in order to request feature information from the central database.
\n\t\t\t\tFinally, our web-visualization technology, based on the Web View Service specification, allows us to deliver interactive 3D visualizations to thin clients in high quality.\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
