\n\tThe Ninth AR Standards Community meeting took place May 29-30, 2013.\n<\/p>\n

This page is also where the slides for each session are found. \n\t —————————–\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe community of people seeking to advance work towards open and interoperable AR<\/a> will meet on May 29-30, 2013 in New York, New York. <\/a>\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe face-to-face meetings are designed to promote the discussion between stakeholders of the ecosystem for the development of open and interoperable AR content and experiences. During the two day meeting, we will work side by side with AR industry leaders and SDO Work Group chairs to: \n<\/p>\n \n\tAugmented Reality developers encountering obstacles to audience reach and end user adoption as a result of proprietary technology "silos" are also encouraged to attend in order to learn about the open specifications and APIs under development, and to provide their opinions. AR developers participating in the community are on the front lines to learn about and influence the direction of new tools. Demonstrations will be used to assist in stimulating discussion among participants during meeting session 11<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n \n\tAll community members are invited to suggest topics for the agenda via submission of position papers.\n<\/p>\n \n\tIn addition to the invited speaker presentations and moderated plenary collaborations, contributions to the community may be made in advance of the meeting in the form of position papers. Submitters are requested to follow published guidelines for position papers<\/a>.
