This page<\/a> is also where the slides for each session are found.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2013<\/span><\/p>\n The\u00a0community of people seeking to advance work towards open and interoperable AR<\/a>\u00a0will meet on March 26-27, 2014\u00a0in\u00a0Arlington, VA.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n The face-to-face community meetings are designed to promote the discussion among ecosystem stakeholders\u00a0for the development of open and interoperable AR content and experiences. During the meeting on March 26, we will work side by side with AR industry leaders and SDO Work Group chairs to:<\/p>\n Augmented Reality\u00a0developers participating in the community are on the front lines to learn about and influence the direction of new tools.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0The developers encountering obstacles to audience reach and end user adoption as a result of proprietary technology “silos” are\u00a0encouraged to attend to learn about the open specifications and APIs under development, and to provide their opinions.<\/p>\n All community members are invited to suggest topics for the agenda via submission of position papers.<\/p>\n In addition to the invited speaker presentations and moderated plenary collaborations, contributions to the AR Community may be made in advance of the meeting in the form of position papers. Submitters are requested to follow published\u00a0guidelines for position papers<\/a>. The position papers and recommended reading for the previous community\u00a0meeting are\u00a0available on\u00a0this page<\/a>.<\/a><\/p>\n Those planning to participate in the March 2014 AR Community meeting should review the documentation of the past meetings found via this page<\/a>\u00a0(go to past Events table and find AR Community Meetings).\u00a0<\/strong>Joining the mailing lists for the community<\/a>\u00a0is also highly recommended.<\/p>\n While this is an open meeting,\u00a0advanced registration is required. We are meeting in conjunction with the OGC Technical Committee meeting<\/a> hosted by Lockheed Martin in Arlington, Virginia on\u00a0March 24-28, 2014.
