{"id":1877,"date":"2014-01-05T12:02:06","date_gmt":"2014-01-05T12:02:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.perey.com\/ARStandards\/?page_id=1877"},"modified":"2014-03-16T07:16:08","modified_gmt":"2014-03-16T07:16:08","slug":"march-2014-area-member-meeting","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.perey.com\/ARStandards\/march-2014-area-member-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"March 2014 AREA Member Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\n\tThe members of the AR for Enterprise Alliance (now referred to as the&nbsp;AREA) are cordially invited to attend the first in-person&nbsp;meeting on the afternoon of March&nbsp;27 and morning of March 28&nbsp;in&nbsp;Washington D.C. immediately following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.perey.com\/ARStandards\/march-2014-ar-community-meeting\/\">AR Community meeting<\/a>.&nbsp;<a height=\"20\" name=\"Goals\" width=\"20\"><\/a>\n<\/p>\n<h1>\n\tMeeting Goals<br \/>\n<\/h1>\n<p style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\n\tThe in-person member meeting, also serving as the first face-to-face&nbsp;board of directors meeting,&nbsp;is being designed:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tto forge bonds between AREA members,\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tto receive a report of the AREA current status,\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tto discuss and to vote on by-law modifications, including but not limited to membership classes, dues and dates,\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tto establish reasonable nomination and election procedures,\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tto vote in the members of the Board of Directors,\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tto decide about creation of an executive committee of the BOD, a Technical Committee and Marketing Committee, and\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tto review, modify and to approve the AREA proposed program of&nbsp;activities and budget for the remainder of 2014.\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>\n\tTo Participate in the AREA Members Meeting<br \/>\n<\/h1>\n<p style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\n\tThe AREA members meeting is closed to the public.&nbsp;To participate in this meeting, AREA members in good standing need only to complete the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/march-2014-area-members-meeting-tickets-10297424875\">on-line registration form<\/a>.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\n\tThis meeting will take place immediately following the public <a href=\"https:\/\/www.perey.com\/ARStandards\/march-2014-ar-community-meeting\/\">AR Community meeting<\/a> scheduled for March 26-27, 2014&nbsp;<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">and in conjunction with the OGC Technical Committee meeting hosted by Lockheed Martin in Arlington, Virginia on&nbsp;March 24-28, 2014.
