The task force dedicated to the work on interoperability has pages on this web portal and <a href=\"http:\/\/arstandards.org\/mailman\/listinfo\/interop\">a mailing list<\/a>.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"font-size: 13.333333969116211px;\">\n\tProblem Statement<br \/>\n<\/h1>\n<p style=\"font-size: 13.333333969116211px;\">\n\tToday a user equipped with an AR-ready device, including sensors and appropriate output\/display support, must download a proprietary application to experience content published using an AR experience authoring platform. A subset of these applications are referred to as &quot;AR browsers.&quot;<a id=\"BrowserInteropBenefits\" name=\"BrowserInteropBenefits\"><\/a>\n<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 240); border: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 1.5em; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.333333969116211px; line-height: 22.166667938232422px;\">\n\tBenefits of Interoperability<br \/>\n<\/h1>\n<p style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 240); border: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 1.5em; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.333333969116211px; line-height: 22.166667938232422px;\">\n\tAR browser interoperability benefits at least these four stakeholders:&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<ul style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 240); border: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 1.5em 1.2em; outline: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word; list-style-position: outside; list-style-image: none; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.333333969116211px; line-height: 22.166667938232422px;\">\n<li style=\"background-color: transparent; border: 0px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial;\">\n\t\t<strong style=\"background-color: transparent; border: 0px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word;\">Content Publishers<\/strong>&nbsp;will be able to offer AR experiences with their content to larger potential audiences (e.g., all users of AR browsers that support interoperability) with equal or lower effort (costs) of preparing\/producing AR browser-based experiences with their digital assets,\n\t<\/li>\n<li style=\"background-color: transparent; border: 0px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial;\">\n\t\t<strong style=\"background-color: transparent; border: 0px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word;\">Developers of AR experiences<\/strong>&nbsp;will be able to choose the AR experience authoring environment they prefer or is best suited to a project without sacrificing the &quot;basic&quot; experience they can offer their clients&#39; target audiences and also be able to invest in innovation (specialize) in preparation of highly engaging and interactive experiences,\n\t<\/li>\n<li style=\"background-color: transparent; border: 0px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial;\">\n\t\tAttracted by larger total audience size and lower barrier to entry, there will be more content publishers willing to invest in and greater number of developers learning\/perfecting AR experience design, generating higher revenues for&nbsp;<strong style=\"background-color: transparent; border: 0px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word;\">AR authoring and content management system providers<\/strong>, and\n\t<\/li>\n<li style=\"background-color: transparent; border: 0px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial;\">\n\t\t<strong style=\"background-color: transparent; border: 0px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word;\">End users<\/strong>&nbsp;will be able to discover and select AR experiences from a larger catalog while also choosing the AR browser they prefer.\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-size: 13.333333969116211px;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.333333969116211px; line-height: 22.166667938232422px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 240);\">On January 21, 2014 &nbsp;the&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.perey.com\/ARStandards\/AR_Browser_Interoperability_Architecture_Jan_21_2014_v1_2.pdf\" style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 240); border: 0px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; word-wrap: break-word; text-decoration: none; color: rgb(0, 17, 187); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.333333969116211px; line-height: 22.166667938232422px;\">AR Browser Interoperability Architecture document 1.2<\/a><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.333333969116211px; line-height: 22.166667938232422px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 240);\">&nbsp;was agreed upon by the AR Browser publishers participating in this process. Implementations of the architecture began in the second phase of the process: AR Browser Interoperability Proof of Concept. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.perey.com\/ARStandards\/AR_Browser_Interoperability_Architecture_Feb_17_2014_v1_3.pdf\">most current version of the Architecture document <\/a>reflects a few bugs that were fixed in mid-February during development of the test browsers.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 13.333333969116211px;\">\n\tFor further background on the AR Browser Interoperability development, please&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 13.333333969116211px;\">visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.perey.com\/ARStandards\/ar-interoperability-engineering-meeting\/\">this page<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 13.333333969116211px;\">\n\tTest content&nbsp;<br \/>\n<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-size: 13.333333969116211px;\">\n\tIn this section we provide the paths to assets that can be used for testing interoperability.&nbsp;The URLs for launching the experience in one of the browsers should all have the same format: If the AR browser supports the ar:\/\/ scheme, you should actually use a normal web browser (Chrome, Safari, or any other web browser on the device) to launch the experience. If the AR browser does not support the ar:\/\/ scheme (Wikitude for the demo), then you should use the http:\/\/ URL and enter it directly in the AR browser&#39;s content selection field.\n<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 13.333333969116211px;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Opening Files with junaio AR Browser<\/span><br \/>\n<\/h2>\n<div style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
