Its products for environmental monitoring and mHealth are used in over 20 countries. It won the Bluetooth Innovation World Cup 2011 in the Automotive and Entertainment category.<br \/>Dr. Setton obtained an engineering degree from the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Lyon France in 1986. He graduated with a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990. His research focuses on translating data collected through personal and environmental sensors to tangible user experiences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">His recent projects have focused on urban air quality monitoring, as well as on contextual, location based services. Prior to joining NRC-Lausanne, Jan was based in India, ramping up a research team focusing on emerging markets services. He has a ten years&rsquo; background with Nokia. Jan comes with a PhD in HCI. He has published widely in the domain of mobile user experiences. ACTYS deployed over 100 systems across Europe, the Americas and the Middle East. ACTYS also provides training for water facility staff, maintenance and service on a wide range of automatic treatment technologies. He is responsible for corporate M2M products, including connectivity services and location based services.
